Terms
Last updated 09/08/2026
Using Londy means agreeing to what's on this page. It's short on purpose.
What this is
Londy is a daily word game for two paired people, operated by Londy, based in France. Contact: contact@londy.app.
Your account
You need an account, a working email address, and to be at least 15 years old. One account per person — keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
Everything you enter should be yours to enter. Your display name is visible to your partner, so pick something you're happy for them to see.
Pairing
An invite code lets someone join your couple. Treat it like a password. Anyone who has a live code can pair with you, and pairing shares your game history and reactions with them. Only send it to the person you mean to play with.
Price
Londy is currently free.
Some features may become paid in future. If that happens we'll tell you clearly beforehand, the daily game will stay free, and nothing you've already been given will be taken away without notice. If you take up a founder offer, we'll honour the price we agreed for as long as your subscription runs without a break.
Fair use
Please don't:
- Try to break, overload or probe the service.
- Automate gameplay, or attempt to read answers before they're revealed.
- Guess at other people's invite codes.
- Use the service to harass anyone, including your partner.
- Resell or repackage the service.
Your content
Your display name and your game history belong to you. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running the game — which mostly means showing them to the person you're paired with. Nothing more.
What we can't promise
This is a small service run by a small team. We aim to keep it up and working, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. It's provided as-is, without warranties. Keep anything you'd hate to lose somewhere else too.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop running the service — in which case we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll let you know before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by French law. If you're a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country's law and can bring a claim there.
